The GEO Readiness Audit extension runs entirely in your browser. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us or to any third party we control. There is no analytics, no tracking, and no account system.
When you click "Run audit," the extension reads the DOM of the page you are currently viewing (headings, structured data, meta tags, links, images, and similar page content) to compute the checklist score shown in the popup. This happens locally in your browser and is not sent anywhere.
To complete certain checks, the extension makes direct HTTP requests from your browser to:
robots.txt, llms.txt, llms-full.txt, sitemap.xml, and /.well-known/tdmrep.json paths on the origin of the page being auditedThese requests go directly from your browser to the target website. They do not pass through any server operated by us, and their content is used only to render the audit results in your popup for that session.
The extension does not use chrome.storage or any persistent storage mechanism. Audit results exist only in the popup's memory while it is open and are discarded when you close it. Nothing is saved between sessions.
We do not share data with third parties, because we do not collect any data to share. The only "third parties" involved are the websites you choose to audit or compare against, which receive an ordinary HTTP request from your browser exactly as they would if you visited the page yourself.
